Undergraduate Summer Research Program

Applications to the Undergraduate Summer Research Program 2013 are now open.

NOTE: The deadline for applications has been extended to Monday, February 25, 2013.


Our research program is offered to current full-time students registered in either Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, or Dentistry. Applicants must have completed at least one full year of an undergraduate program to be eligible. This program is offered to any student registered in an accredited university. Students are encouraged to contact IBBME professors to discuss potential positions and projects. Groups have been compiled below by research area along with a sample of associated professors.


Application Procedure

To submit an application, please complete the IBBME USRP application form. Students who are also applying for the NSERC USRA, must also submit a hard copy of their NSERC application (Form 202, Part 1 and Part 2) and transcripts when submitting their IBBME application The NSERC USRA must be completed on-line and a printed copy submitted with your IBBME USRA application- no written or manually typed USRA forms will be accepted. Please note that students cannot apply for an NSERC USRA without also applying for the Summer Program.

Mail, or submit in person, the complete application package; including the IBBME USRP Application form, the NSERC USRA application, along with a copy of your CV and official transcripts to the IBBME Graduate Office. Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be considered for the program.
