The Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering (IBBME) will only consider applications that are completed by the required deadline.
Incomplete applications, or applicants who have not paid the appropriate application fee, will not be considered.

The system will prompt you to pay the application fee. You may pay the fee online by credit card (preferred method), or offline by credit card, certified cheque or money order. Cheque or money order must be payable to the ‘University of Toronto’ and forwarded to SGS, along with the payment form.
- Applicants will be required to submit three letters of academic reference, a statement of intent, and a curriculum vitae (CV) on the SGS application system. Please do not mail these separately to IBBME.
- You must send official transcripts directly from all previous post-secondary institutions and a hard copy of the English Language Proficiency requirement, if applicable, to IBBME. If you have completed TOEFL, you must arrange for ETS to forward the score report electronically to SGS.
- MASc, PhD and collaborative specialization candidates must secure a supervisor in order to receive an official offer of admission
- Applicants are not required to submit GRE scores.
Please forward your official transcripts from all previous post-secondary institutions (required) and English Language Facility scores (if applicable) to:
